Text to ASCII — FAQ

Is my data safe?
Yes. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded to any server.
Is it really free?
Every Social-X tool is free, unlimited and works offline.
What is ASCII?
A character set of 128 codes covering English letters, digits, common punctuation and control characters. It was designed for teleprinters, which is why it is so small.
What happens to characters outside the table?
They cannot be represented in ASCII. The tool shows the underlying byte value instead, which is what a modern system would actually store.
