Percentage Calculator — FAQ
Is my data safe?
Yes. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded to any server.
Is it really free?
Every Social-X tool is free, unlimited and works offline.
What is X percent of Y?
Multiply Y by X and divide by one hundred. The hard part is usually deciding which value is the whole and which is the part, not the arithmetic itself.
How do I work out the percentage increase?
Take the difference between the two values, divide by the original, then multiply by one hundred. The original value is the denominator, not the new one.
